President Obonjo (Character Comic)

President Obonjo has been performing Comedy for well over four years and is the only comedy dictator in the UK . Last year he succesfully took a show to Edinburgh which received 5 stars by the "Fringe Guru." Played to full houses this year at Brighton & Hastings Fringe with his new show the Rise of the Comedy Dictator. Descibed by Steve Bennet "has a great comic construct." The President is making waves across the UK Comedy circuit. He returns to the Edinburgh Fringe next year with a brand new show. President Obonjo is a high energy act in demand and you are likley to see him playing around a venue near you .

Mike Lord (Comedian & Promoter)

Comedian, comedy promoter, comedy writer, MC, radio presenter, all round hero (but he doesn’t do electrics) and now podcast guest, Mike (Lord) is a seasoned performer. Pepper or mixed spice being his normal stage covering. Mike started stand up in 2012 having got the stage bug from several years in Pantomimes. His first stand up gig was to 150 people and what started out as an ambition to challenge himself, turned into a passion that clearly still burns when you see him perform. Mike’s humour covers a wide spectrum of topics but usually ends with the joke being on him, as he prefers to be the idiot in the room, despite the stiff competition sometimes. He’s currently writing a daily pun on Twitter/Facebook, to challenge himself again, as puns are not normally part of his set. In 2013 Mike founded JAM Comedy Club, along with two other acts he’d bumped into along the way. Initially these nights were a traditional open mic try-out night, one of which still exists but now the JAM team book and run paid nights for a small number of venues in the Milton Keynes area. Jim Daly is a standup comedian and presenter, a YouTuber, a football expert and bad at knowing when to stop sentences.He is the host of the Five Year Plan podcast which is a podcast about Crystal Palace FC and not Joseph Stalin's socialist economic goals in the last 1920s.He has also just joined JOE.co.uk as a presenter, comedy actor and writer and has a comedy YouTube channel which has had more than 1.8m views.

Philfy Phil A.K.A. Phil Alexander (Musical Comedian)

I'm Phil Alexander, singer of silly songs and igniter of lyrical fireworks. I have been entertaining people round camp fires, at parties and musical open mics for more decades than I care to remember. For some totally inexplicable reason, I had the stage name "Philfy Phil" bestowed upon me, and since then have striven to live up to it.
It took me quite a long time to realize that people find my stuff really rather funny, and they might actually be right (a lot of people seem to think I'm a good guitarist, too, and I know they're not right about that). So in 2012, I set out on a whole new direction, trying to make a name for myself on the comedy circuit.
Since then, I have performed at comedy nights as often as time, resources and an ageing Rover 75 have allowed, and have generally tried to entertain and leave audiences thinking "you know, I really didn't think anyone could make that kind of subject matter funny"

Fred Ferenczi (Character Comic)

Fred Ferenczi began stand-up in 2001 and clocked up some 500 gigs in that time, performing all over the UK, at least twice a week. ‘Glee’ described Fred as “Kaufmanesque, great use of time” and Steve Bennett (Chortle) said “Fred could become quite the cult.” Chesham Comedy Club call Fred is “brilliantly weird”. He has performed at numerous festivals including Edinburgh, Leicester, Brighton, Citadel and Wilderness (the latter two, where he curates a massively popular comedy tent).

Fred has been a finalist in the national Silver Comedian competition in 2012, 2013 and 2016 (Steve Bennett’s tip for the title) near miss for the title). Fred works equally well on conventional as alternative bills.

Peter Ford (Comedian & Toastmaster)

Peter Ford is seventy and frankly looks every day of it. Started standup at the age of sixty four and the Whiteleaf Comedy Club in Croydon and has appeared on the circuit as a regular ever since. Talks endlessly about little old ladies, sex, Viagra and a whole lot of leading edge stuff (not). A well known humorous public speaker and has been a member of 'Toastmasters International' for thirteen years. Still works full time in the family mail order business. You can find him on

Rick Murtagh has been on the circuit for 4 years.
