Rob Kemp (Comedian, Writer & Podcaster)
Saturday Aug 26, 2017
Saturday Aug 26, 2017
Comedy writer, performer and podcaster, Rob has been involved in stand-up for 5 years now (though his need to perform was sated through a number of bands in the years prior to this).
He made the shortlist of the BBC New Comedy Award twice, and his semi-autobiographical PowerPoint show 'Hubris' was nominated for 'Best Debut' at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2016... so he's not, like, rubbish... ok?
He gigs for kids comedy clubs as well as for the grown ups, and is currently refining his second show, a music/movie mash-up, The Elvis Dead.
You can hear Rob meander his way through absurd scenarios in his YouTube podcast/vlog *shrugs*, Left of the Podium (celebrating the 4th best of everything)
He's an approachable chap, but doesn't like to impose, so if you see him, go chat to him, he won't mind (unless you're gropey. Or racist. Or both. Yuck)

Saturday Aug 26, 2017
Danny Clives is a comedian.
He was a finalist of the Leicester Square New Comedian Of The Year 2016 and was also shortlisted for the BBC Comedy Award in 2014.
His comedy material is based on his struggle being a human being, failures with women and trying to fit in. These topics are delivered through this low energy, shy persona which is actually how he is in real life just 1% exaggerated.
He is currently writing a show he plans to take to the Birmingham Comedy Festival in October.
Otherwise spends most of his spare time running his illustration shop, designing websites and sleeping past 10am.

Simon Lilley (Comedian)
Saturday Aug 26, 2017
Saturday Aug 26, 2017
Simon has been bringing his unique brand of stand-up for over 10 years now to small (and some large) London clubs as well as further afield if the money's right. He has been a regular performer at the Edinburgh Festival, doing his first solo show in 2013. His style is sometimes laid-back while at other times highly energetic and bizarre, he likes to occasionally sing and dance (being the frontman of a failed rock band, it inevitably comes out). Various influences come to mind, from grouchy Rich Hall and sarcastic Jo Brand to meandering Paul Foot with a touch of Daniel Kitson. He likes to chat to the audience which makes him a natural MC and can be found regularly hosting at Duchess Life Comedy Night near his home in West London.
"I really enjoyed your set. Some really good stuff. Different and brave." Alistair MacGowan
"Some exceptional ideas. Very enjoyable and off the wall." Geoff Whiting, Mirth Control
"F***ing great." Brendon Burns
"Simon Lilley is a very funny man. Book him." Matthew Crosby
"The highlight of the show. Seek out his performances." Edfringe.com
